What this tool does
Repair an image or short video after marking the unwanted area. Results depend on how much original detail remains underneath the mark.
How to use it
- Choose an image or supported video and mark the region to repair.
- Select the mode that matches a translucent badge or an opaque object, then run processing.
- Inspect the repaired area at full size before downloading the result.
Understand the controls
- Translucent versus opaque
- A faint badge may leave recoverable image information underneath. An opaque mark requires reconstruction of missing pixels.
- Region selection
- Keep the selection close to the unwanted mark. A much larger area gives the repair less nearby context.
Example
For a small translucent corner badge, select just the badge and compare fine edges after processing. A large solid logo over a face may need manual editing.
Files and limits
The model is downloaded to the browser on first use. Video input is limited to 50 MB, 60 seconds and 1920 px on its longest side; processing time depends on clip length.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images and videos uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs inside this browser tab. The watermark-removal model is downloaded once to your device, then all processing happens locally — your files never leave the page.
Why does it download something the first time?
The AI inpainting model is about 29 MB. It is fetched only after you add a file (never on page load), then cached in your browser so later visits start instantly and work offline.
Which watermarks does it remove best?
Semi-transparent badges from AI image generators — Google Gemini, Bing Image Creator, Meta AI and similar. Because the picture underneath a see-through badge still exists, it can be recovered rather than painted over. For a solid, fully opaque logo choose “Opaque object” instead.
What are the video limits?
Up to 50 MB, 60 seconds and 1920px on the longest side. Video is re-encoded in real time, so a 20-second clip takes roughly 20 seconds plus a one-off AI pass on the first frame. The original audio track is preserved.
Can I mask the watermark by hand?
Yes. Press “Find watermark” to have one suggested, then refine it with the rectangle, brush and eraser tools. The keyboard works too: focus the image, move the crosshair with the arrow keys and press Enter to draw.
