What this tool does
Package SVG artwork into an ICO file that contains several raster icon sizes. Each size is drawn independently from the SVG for a crisp result.
How to use it
- Choose an SVG file and inspect the square preview.
- Select one or more sizes from 16, 32, 48, 64, 128 and 256 px.
- Download the ICO and use it as a favicon where ICO files are required.
Understand the controls
- Size selection
- Every checked size becomes a separate PNG-compressed frame inside one ICO file. At least one size must remain selected.
- Aspect ratio
- Non-square artwork is centered in a transparent square. It is not stretched to fill the frame.
Example
A simple mark with strong contrast usually reads better at 16 px than a detailed illustration. Check the smallest preview size before publishing.
Files and limits
SVG uploads are limited to 15 MB, 8192 px per edge and 32 million pixels. SVGs containing scripts or external resources are rejected.
