What this tool does

Change image dimensions in pixels or by percentage. The same settings can be applied to a batch when several assets need a consistent size.

How to use it

  1. Add images and choose Pixels or Percentage.
  2. Enter a target width and height or a scale percentage. Keep aspect ratio on when you do not want distortion.
  3. Choose how the image fits the target box, process the images and download the results.

Understand the controls

Contain, Cover and Stretch
Contain keeps the whole image visible with padding. Cover fills the target and crops overflow. Stretch fills both dimensions and can distort proportions.
Aspect ratio
When locked, changing one dimension updates the other to preserve the source proportions.

Example

To make a square thumbnail without distortion, choose a square target and Cover. Use Contain when every part of the original must remain visible.

Files and limits

Up to 50 files per batch. Enlarging a small image changes its pixel dimensions but does not create new detail.

Private by design

Files are processed in your browser and never uploaded.

Batch-friendly

Process up to 50 files in one go with identical settings.

Free, no sign-up

No account, no watermark, no limits on how often you use it.

Frequently asked questions

Does resizing reduce quality?

Making an image smaller is generally safe. Making it larger cannot add detail — for high-quality enlargement use an upscaling tool instead.

What does “cover” do?

Cover scales the image so it fills the target box completely and crops the overflow. “Contain” fits the whole image inside and pads the rest.

Can I resize many images at once?

Yes. Add up to 50 images and the same settings are applied to every file.
